A Taste of Things to Come…

Breathing The Machine – Pre Orders!

Alright, I’ve decided that the pre orders will go live at midnight tonight (EST)! When you pre order you will get an immediate download of “Annihilation: Start”. There will be the options of a digital album, physical album with digital download, and a Deluxe Edition that features the full album and the instrumentals. For every person that purchases the Deluxe Edition with physical album I will sign it for you when the physical cds arrive. The first 10 people to purchase the standard edition of the album will also have it signed.

Mechanical Holocaust – PREVIEW

I’m feeling a little generous and want to give you a quick preview of what my track “Mechanical Holocaust” will sound like for the album. If you picked up the Breathing the Machine EP you would have heard a demo version of this track, and I’ve since gone in and completely re-worked it from the ground up. I think the only things that I kept were the machine sfx and my friend Ewart’s bassline (he is also the man responsible for the Breathing the Machine EP cover artwork as well as the artwork for the full album…. and I gotta tell you it looks kick ass!)

So here’s a sample of things to come. What do you think?

Hey everyone,

I’d like to get serious for a quick moment. Nothing too serious, so do not panic. Or if you really want to go ahead and panic, then be my guest….

I just wanted to inform you that on November 17th of this year, I will be getting married to the love of my life. This may come as a shock to some of you who know me, and some of you already knew about this. To those of you who had absolutely no idea, well here’s the part where I say “SURPRISE!!!!”

So with that being said, you may not see much updates from me over the next few days and perhaps a little time after the wedding. This is because I’ll be busy working on getting the last minute details all organized and then I will want to enjoy my much needed break after that. Don’t worry though, this doesn’t mean that I won’t drop by and say hi or interact with you if you post something or want to talk to me. This is pretty much me saying that I’m going to put my music production on pause so I can focus…

… but on that topic of music, I have been teasing “Unfair” a bit and I can say that it’s almost complete. I promise you that as soon as its done, I will make it a free download for you all to hear and have. So stay tuned here for the details when they come. Who knows, I may even shock you in the coming days leading up to the wedding by uploading it (if I get it done in time).

Bullet of Reason – Alex Clare Cover (FREE MP3 DOWNLOAD)

I got into a conversation with one of my classmates today and decided that I should cover Alex Clare’s track “Too Close”. It’s such a beautiful track full of raw power and emotion, and I felt that it would be pretty damn fun to cover it. So in a mad 5 hour music marathon, I went into my studio and started to plug away at it, where I tried to stay true to the original as much as possible while maintaining a Bullet of Reason style on it. Bullet of Reason covering Celldweller?!

Simple answer to the title of this post….. yes, yes I am.

I’ve really considered covering the original version of the track for awhile now and I finally built up the courage to actually start working on it and eventually decided to take it The Complete Cellout way. It’s still very rough and needs the vocals (which will be fully recorded soon) and then it will be ready for mixing (unless I decide to either scrap the entire thing or want to add more to it….. who knows….)

SoundCloud cleanup and uploads of some new (and old) content

I believe the title says it all, really.

I’ve gone through and cleaned up my SoundCloud page. I’ve now put everything into sets and will be doing this from now on. Since I’m a little lazy after doing this bit of early spring cleaning, I’ll just copy what I wrote on my Facebook page so that you know what’s going on!

I’ve filtered out all the DEMO stuff and previews from my SoundCloud Page and put everything into nice little sets for your eardrum pleasure. I’ve also decided that I want to give your ears a tingle by uploading all the new mixes of the tracks that will be on “Breathing the Machine” so you can hear everything before the album even comes out! Now why in the hell would I do such a thing? Well, because I love you for you being so damn awesome as well as all of your support. So keep your eyes and ears locked here on my Facebook Page for all the uploading and updating madness!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, the newly mixed versions of “Chaotika” and “Black Widow” as well as the intro track “Theme for the Assimilated” off Breathing the Machine have been uploaded. You can go and hear that set right here.

E.T. (Katy Perry Cover) Work In Progress PREVIEW

So here’s a work in progress preview of the cover I’m working on… E.T. by Katy Perry.

The vocals at the moment are there as placeholders and will be redone. I’m also considering on adding some guitars to the mix to give it that nice Bullet of Reason sound you’ve come to enjoy. Though this may work without the guitars….. we’ll see.

Website Revamp!

After looking at my site for quite some time, I thought it was about that time for me to give it a new look. Changed up the theme, added a new header, and it even now has some fancy links you can click on that look cool and pop up and stuff.

So go ahead and take a look around and click on things and it’ll end up doing stuff! More posts are coming as some new material is starting to take shape so stay tuned!
