I’ve decided that the mix I’m working on for “Unfair” is good enough to show you a real quick preview of one of the choruses. When compared to the original track I did a few years back, you can see how much of a difference there actually is……. and I like it! At this rate, the track will be done sometime this year!!!!! YAY!

Simple answer to the title of this post….. yes, yes I am.
I’ve really considered covering the original version of the track for awhile now and I finally built up the courage to actually start working on it and eventually decided to take it The Complete Cellout way. It’s still very rough and needs the vocals (which will be fully recorded soon) and then it will be ready for mixing (unless I decide to either scrap the entire thing or want to add more to it….. who knows….)

Anytime I ask anyone if they like stuff is usually when there’s awkward silence and I’m forced to break it somehow. In this case, I’m actually presenting you with stuff that hopefully you’ll like… without the awkward part.
First off, I’d like to say that the title of this entry pretty much says it all. If you’re a remixer or if you want to start remixing…. or if you listened to Black Widow and thought to yourself “Damn, I could do so much better than the original; I want to remix the hell out of that track!” well now’s your lucky day! Secondly, I’ve also uploaded the demo version of the title track from my upcoming album “Breathing the Machine”. It will be fully mixed and mastered (along with all the other tracks you’ve already heard from the EP as well as some material you haven’t had the chance to hear yet) next year at some time that would pose convenient for both myself and (hopefully) the studios I’ll be mastering them in. So if you wanna take a listen to what Breathing the Machine sounds like, then now’s your chance as it is now live on my SoundCloud page. If you don’t feel like leaving this page and you want to hear it, I’ve embedded the SoundCloud link at the bottom of this post (awwww, how nice of me!).

The vocals at the moment are there as placeholders and will be redone. I’m also considering on adding some guitars to the mix to give it that nice Bullet of Reason sound you’ve come to enjoy. Though this may work without the guitars….. we’ll see.

Please forgive the lack of updates/postings. It’s been a really busy couple of days. Mostly jumping from one studio to another and essentially keeping Pro Tools open on any screen possible and just diving right into the tunes.
Been pretty busy putting together some new material for Bullet of Reason. I really hope this new stuff rocks your world just as hard as it’s rocking mine. I really can’t wait to show this stuff to you………… wait a second, I already did a little bit on my Ustream account which can be found by clicking this link. I plan on turning on the camera at random times just to see who’s interested in watching me work on some stuff (which I will warn you now is EXTREMELY boring and probably best that you don’t actually watch it). I’ll most likely be posting the next time I plan on doing a Ustream so that you can follow along and watch and even ask questions. Follow my Twitter and Facebook Page for updates on when I’ll be doing a live show. Since I may even be putting the stream up at random, be sure to check back on my pages often. If you haven’t already picked up the Breathing the Machine EP or you have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about, I strong suggest that you go pick it up in the FiXT Store and let the machine consume your soul!
I’ve also been pretty busy working on new ethereal|Lust material and I can say that we’re both really proud of where this project is going. We really can’t wait to get this full album out to you.
